Cartmel Races

25th, 27th & 29th May 2013

Against the backdrop of the beautiful English Lake District, it is possible to sample national hunt racing in its most original format.

The 3 day May fixture has fun for all the family with stalls and a funfair alongside the races. In the village of Cartmel there are plenty of pubs, restaurants, cafes, shops and the priory to explore whist you are there.

Windermere Marathon

SUNDAY 19th MAY 2013

Following a course which is a complete circuit of Windermere, England’s largest lake, the Brathay Windermere Marathon takes in Hawkshead, Newby Bridge, Bowness and Waterhead. In 2012 almost 1000 runners enjoyed the stunning scenery around the challenging 26.2 mile course.
