The Fulling Mill Bar & Bistro in the centre of Ambleside
The Bar & Bistro occupies a cleverly restored Grade 11 building dating from the 15th Century that operated as a fulling mill. The working weir, millrace, wheel and various pieces of machinery are carefully retained and can still be admired.
After a recent refurbishment they have transformed the 4 floored building into a Bar & Bistro allocating 2 beautifully furbished floors for drinks and nibbles and 2 floors for dinning.
