***URGENT NOTICE***

Dear Guests, Customers and Friends, 

 

It is with a heavy heart that we must announce that The Fisherbeck Hotel will be temporarily closed as of today Sunday 22nd March 2020.

 

Our main priority has and always will be to look after our staff and to ensure our guests have an outstanding experience with us here at The Fisherbeck, therefore we feel a temporary closure is the only option at this time.

 

We will use this time to complete any final refurbishment works and refine our business to ensure that when we re-open The Fisherbeck will be the best it can be.


In these uncertain times the current situation is fast changing so we will be contacting our guests who are due to stay in March or April within the next few days, the situation will be reviewed on a four week basis and guests contacted accordingly.  Our telephones will be manned if you have any questions regarding our closure and of course should you wish to make any reservations for a later time then we will be delighted to accommodate you. Coronavirus: Is a stay in a hotel risky?

 

Here at the Fisherbeck, the safety of our staff and guests comes first.

We are adopting the World Health Organisation (WHO’s) standard recommendations and following the government advice to reduce the transmutation and exposure to a of a range of illnesses, the recommendations and advice include hand and respiratory hygiene, and safe food practices. 

 

What are the main recommendations that The Fisherbeck have been following?

 

  • Employees to wash their hands frequently with soap and water
  • Employees to avoid tight contact with others
  • Employees to inform guests of strict hygiene regulations
  • A minimum distance to other guests should be always maintained
  • Guests with symptoms of illness will be asked to stay in the room and call 111 then notify reception by telephone
  • All rooms, communal areas, door handles & stair rails are clean and disinfected with leading sanitising products to make sure the hygiene of the hotel is at its very best

We will continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure the safety of all our staff and guests, and will update the communication regularly. Booking to stay at The Fisherbeck is safe, and you can always select the Best Available Rate for an easy and straight-forward cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

We operate a 7 day cancellation policy. If you cancel at least 7 days prior to the day of your arrival you will not be charged and any deposits will be fully refunded.  Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the day of arrival will incur a charge equivalent to the full cost of your reservation.  Alternatively, in light of the current situation around the world we are offering free amendments to all of our bookings, this means your deposit will be saved and put against your new stay dates, as a further gesture we will also add a 10% discount to your booking.
